Red Bull induced craziness

I started today with a Red Bull.  In hindsight, maybe not the best idea, but today has been rather entertaining thus far as a result.

And I just got really surprised.  Someone I work with, who things have been kinda weird with for a reason I’m not quite sure, said I was looking very nice today.  Booyah.  Oh yeah.  And she’s always looking nice, but that’s a story for another blog.  I have to make more of an effort to look professional for work.  I like looking professional, but I just don’t have the clothes.

I’ma going shopping tomorrow.  I was going to anyway… Going to start the Ye OldeChristmas shopping early, so I’m not in a mad rush in December.

And I’m going to stay on a budget, so I won’t be spending too much on anyone.  Say sorry, say thank-ya.

I just made an evil mutant frog out of the top of a pump bottle that exploded on my desk.  And this entry has been sitting open on my computer for the last couple of hours.  You wouldn’t think it took three hours to write five paragraphs… but it’s true!  I started at like 9am and it’s now 12:12pm.

Only another 33 minutes until lunch/reading time.  Oh yeah.  I had a good system at work at the moment.  I have a book sitting on my desk constantly, up until last week it was Thinner, now it’s Four Past Midnight, and I get ten minutes worth of reading in the morning break, 45 minutes worth at lunch, then another 10 minutes in the afternoon.  And I’m DEVOURING books.  It’s only taking me a week at most to finish a novel, and well, two weeks probably for Four Past Midnight, cos it’s huge.

I’m actually reading three books in tandem at the moment.  One in the toilet at home, one at work, and one on my desk at home.  The system is working.

THE SYSTEM IS BREAKING DOWN!  TAPE RECORDER!  MARMOSET!  GRAPE-FLAVOURED-APPLE-CIDER-INDUCING-HALLUCINOGENS!

And that’s why we had Chinese for lunch.

Speaking of which, I could seriously go for some Chinese.  But there are no Chinese places around here… Well there are, but I want to good old buffet style Chinese restaurant, the kind we don’t have here.  Grr.

Guess it’s Subway for lunch then.  It won’t satisfy the craving, but eh, what can you do?

I feel like going into the city this afternoon/tonight, but I think it’d be best if I waited until tomorrow.  No peak hour traffic, and no random store closings.

And everyone in the centre I’m working at is leaving!  Gyah!  Seriously, we have four staff leaving in the next couple of weeks.  But it’s good for me, because I guarantees me a position here.  And I’m going to make myself utterly indispensable.  I want to stay here, I love working here, and I want to get more experience in the department before moving on.

Anyway, I love Amber, she is wonderful, amazing, and every time I think of her I just go all warm and fuzzy inside.
